Mayo will be looking to make it two wins out of two on Sunday when Mickey Harte’s Tyrone men come visiting McHale Park in the second of Mayo’s four home games in this year’s National Football League.

The single will be launched at the opening of the Galway Continental Christmas Market tomorrow (Friday) and Lily-Mae, who is suffering from a rare childhood cancer, will turn on the Christmas lights at the event with the help of singers Paddy Casey and Declan O’Rourke, and Anthony Ryan, chairman of the Galway City Business Association.

Now that the dust has finally settled, I spent some time discussing the quality of the senior football championship this year with a few GAA heads.
